Aspen Ladd

Aspen Ladd started her combat sports journey at age 14. She was a kickboxer, boxer as well as wrestling, before making her debut appearance as an amateur at WCFC with Jaimee Nievera. Ladd felt more confident following her win, and she won three fights at Ultimate Reno Combat. Her opponents all fell by the start of the round. Ladd returned to WCFC in order to defeat Leslie Rodriguez through a unanimous ruling. Aspen had already defeated Silvia Baeghian and Maddy Simmons, before taking on Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia defeated Aspen and swept her away in an unanimous vote to remove a blemish on Ladd's amateur record. Ladd bounced back from defeat with a win over Roma Pawelek in Tuff-N'-Uff, which brought her record to 8-1. Aspen began her career in 2015, signing to Invicta FC for her professional debut. Invicta Fc 11 she dominated Ana Carolina Vidal and won the bout in the one round with a TKO. The next time she fought, she won against Amanda Cooper via second-round armbar submission, and then moved up to Bantamweight for her next fight at Invicta FC 16. Aspen utilized her superior wrestling skills to take down McGill in the third round via TKO. Aspen continued to fight Jessica Hoy for Invicta FC18 in a catchweight that was 138.1lb. Ladd was not able make the weight, but Aspen was victorious and defeated Hoy with a TKO. Invicta FC 28 was her last bout for the organization. Invicta FC 22 saw Sijara Eubanks defeated by unanimity. Aspen Ladd was the first UFC fighter to make her debut. She took on Linalansberg in UFC Fight Night 118. She outclassed Lina as she ground-and-pound pounded her for an TKO victory in the second round. Her dominance grew and she won a much more convincing victory in her subsequent fight with Tonya Evinger at UFC 229 Ladd defeated Evinger in the first round. She also received a performance of the night bonus. Her first fight of note came with her next bout in UFC Fight Night dos Anjos vs. Lee against Sijara Eubanks in the Invicta FC rematch. The two fighters put on an intense battle that concluded with Ladd winning via unanimous decision and both fighters received an award known as the Fight of the Night bonus. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie was able to finish the fight in just 16 seconds and finish Ladd and her winning streak. The third time she fought on UFC at ESPN 7, she defeated Yana Kunitskaya. In a match that was a replacement in the UFC, Norma Dumont was her opponent. Her loss was a unanimous one.
